Excited about this one. Privatizing public water infrastructure/operations usually turns out real bad for ratepayers. Let’s rule privatizing @PhillyH2O out in our charter!

The next part of the #APN platform is a local rent refund for our lower income seniors, disabled neighbors, and widows. It’s a budgetary drop in the bucket compared to the Homestead Exemption, but would be just as important for these particularly cost-burdened tenants.

We’re launching Philly’s first task force focused on what local government can do to address the cost of living. 🛒📈 City agencies work in this vein everyday, so this task force will focus on new, actionable proposals that build off of our struggles and successes.

We are grateful for Council’s support of our funding efforts in Harrisburg and we ask everyone who values #SEPTA’s critical role in the city’s future to make your voices heard. #ISEPTAPHILLY #HowWeRoll
Ahead of City Council’s budget hearing with SEPTA, we rode the L (Market-Frankford Line) from 52nd Street to City Hall to speak with riders and sound the alarm about proposed doomsday service cuts and fare hikes. Our region generates almost 40% of Pennsylvania’s economy activity

@KendraPHL and I will work to ensure we’re not in this position again. Our transit infrastructure is the envy of many peer cities, we can’t afford to let it fail.
