Yoooooo this is huge actually. MIT's Media Lab used the food computer concept- which didn't work at all- to raise a LOT of money from donors. I for one would love some transparency about how much money went to bullshit science at a top institution!
A Superior Court justice has ruled that @MIT must disclose how much money was raised by the OpenAg Initiative, a high-profile project at the Media Lab that was shuttered in 2020 following widespread reports of misrepresentation of research.
