I am happy to announce the release of #netty
https://t.co/Ikrrc8B6Dc. Beside bug-fixing we also decided we will re-enable the usage of Unsafe by default while using Java24+, because the performance penalty is just too high without it for now. Check: https://t.co/DUQhTkwTaH

I am proud to share that #netty was selected by @SpotifyEng to receive their #OSS fund this year. This wouldn't have been possible without all the help of our community. Thanks a lot to everyone and of course @SpotifyEng itself:

Hi all, We released #netty
https://t.co/jyciJK3K1O which includes various bugfixes but also include a fix for (CVE-2024-47535) which we rate as very low as the attacker needs to have access to the local filesystem with the right permissions. https://t.co/Qi1CmcINeS
