I usually don’t like NES throwback soundfont usage but the triumphant melody & the forwarding march of the chiptune bass really sell it for me. it’s also great at encapsulating the idea of “Becoming Stronger” at the cost of everything & everyone surrounding you-.

would it be crazy to say this is probably my favorite song on the soundtrack
