So this weekend Elham Kazemi claimed that pronouncing the word “tomorrow” as “tuh-MORE-oh” meant that I had an accent. Then she went and said, “tuh-MAR-oh”. Just wild.

🤔 . This frame gets better the longer I dwell on it.
There's a kind of math teaching that is so obsessed with procedures, it basically turns into discovery learning but for concepts: "You'll figure out the concepts on your own later when you have the procedures by heart.".
