@naomirwolf The problem with translations is that they're not inspired, and can be heavily (if unwittingly) influenced by the biases of the translators. You're 100% correct to be looking at the original languages and weighing the translations against them, rather than the other way around.

@naomirwolf I don't read modern versions, I read the King James, the Latin Vulgate, or the Greek. To my great regret, I do not read Hebrew, although I quoted Proverbs 31 in Hebrew at my son's wedding to a Jewish girl. He is now Jewish.
