The sad part is, in NONE of the multiple events that @AshwiniVaishnaw repeated this nonsense, there was not a single person to ask him what he means- if he is not counting SCL chips, and given Tata fab not ready till at least 2028, does he mean mere packaging as "indigenous" ?.

Waiting for the day when @AshwiniVaishnaw points out what he is going to call the first "Indigenous chip". But my guess, he is going to change the goalpost agan, like his claim of 2024 now shifted to 2025 w/o media pointing out. Never mind that both claims are meaningless/wrong.
@Krish9953642241 @Sputnik_India Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw never stops doing this hype. So none of the chips designed, fabbed & packaged at SCL over all these years are Indian ?. And Tata fab won't be ready till 2028 at least. So what's with 2025 ? Chip-packaging ?.

Nvidia revenue I g went from $60b in 2023 to $130b in 2024. Such jump is possible for fabless when product(s) click (and perhaps when "China market" is "handled well"). TSMC's is more of a steady growth (naturally) - $90b in 2024, $115b+ expected in 2025 .

Doesn't look like this new text mentioned in news is in effect this year if it's indeed std 8. Checked my son's, it's not 228 page, there is no "Health : The Ultimate Treasureā chapter etc.
Let me check my son's Class 8 text book sometime this week.
