April Bingham stepped down from her role leading Richmond's Department of Public Utilities on Wednesday, according to a city press release. Anthony “Scott” Morris will take over the role in an interim capacity.

The city is currently offering bottled water to residents at 10 locations between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., as well as 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Richmonders likely will need to continue boiling water for another day. But at about midnight Tuesday, two pumps at one of the city’s water facilities began working again, and water pressure should be restored later today (hopefully).
