On Wednesday, the provincial government announced that the annual cuts to the Tuition Relief Grant would be paused for the 2025-26 year. MUNSU, GCSU, MISU, and CFS-NL call on the Board of Regents to, in turn, pause the planned 4% increase in tuition fees this year.
