It's a "Mario Monday" so let's go back in time to check in on my favorite driver, and the cars he was driving those years. I took these in 72 and 84. You can see Michael on the left sitting on pit wall, he was co driving the 962.

Well, It's a "Front End Friday", Shelby Cobra Edition. I love Cobras, but prefer the earlier 289 cars. 289 or 427, The Real ones, like these, are something to behold.

Well, I decided to take a drive and stopped by my fave gas station for photos for "Fill Up Friday". About 1600 miles or so. It has fallen into disrepair upon close inspection, perhaps the owner I met years ago is gone? Anyhow, yesterday in Kansas, USA.

Daytona, 1972 and Long Beach, 1977. I always liked Clay. I was fortunate to see him race at Daytona, Sebring and Long Beach Ca. May He RIP.
