I'm thinking early dismissal and my son is trying to show me his phone.. I said "I saw it". We get to the school.. they waved us away like they wanted the iso on a weak defender. Cool I'll take him to Chick-fil-A for some breakfast. Closed too. This has been a weird morning

Gotta get some steps in before the end of the hour. My trick is, I'll drink a ton of water. I'll have to take steps to use the bathroom. I just use the furthest bathroom. Boom.. steps for the hour achieved

One thing that I can appreciate is when a major event happens, it clears away all of the fluff and gets you super focused. Should it take something so drastic to get you going? No, but it gets results.

I like the 2 minute drill in football. No time to think about anything but the immediate goal. Sometimes that's better.

I noticed how comfort sometimes feels like a trap. It can give you time to overthink and time to take yourself out of stuff.

I often ask "what would you do if you had more time?". I think that there's plenty of time, we just fill it with lesser priorities most of the time.
