@ILiketoCope You managed to get everything wrong — which, in itself, is an accomplishment of sorts. Protocols like Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon use tokens to ensure security via staking. In other words, their tokens have real utility and play a critical role in these protocols. Token.

I’d definitely argue the opposite. If a project launches a token, it’s normal/reasonable to expect that it receives (~)100% of the project’s revenue. If it’s a regular business/company, don’t launch a token. It’s suboptimal (and greedy at worst) to try to capture value in both.
