every 20-something techbro in sf I know has these exact same symptoms regardless of being a salaried employee or indiehacker or student or founder or whatever else. there’s a chronic stress to knowing we are living in an era of unlimited potential that is in real danger of being.
i see a lot of indie hackers romanticize the idea of being a solopreneur but i don't see any successful founders bring up or talk about the stress and anxiety of it all. stabbing chest pain, clenching jaw, hard to relax, shoulders always tense, mind racing, etc. am i the only one

@logscore i like to call nextjs the stockholm syndrome framework, i'm way too deep to switch to anything else and i know its quirks and bugs so well at this point, but i still don't often recommend it for new projects.

i love how vendor lock-in is not a thing with LLM providers. need to change providers? just change a couple lines of code. all that matters is: .-latency .-cost .-reliability .-sla/support .-rate limits (crazy this is still an issue in 2025 but it is) . we are so lucky we can

Crazy that out of the two platforms I spend the most time on (Twitter and Medium) i figured out Medium first. It now consistently brings traffic without me needing to constantly write new content.

windsurf famously has unmatched gtm especially with big co's and banks. probably one of the biggest reasons devin bought them?. looks like devin might be a 10B company in < 2 years at this rate.

I’m a cursor power user. Here are the things that actually suck:. 1. No cursorignore file. I want to basically put my entire codebase except for node modeles and other irrelevant stuff into my context for EVERY SINGLE REQUEST. WHY IS IT USING SO MANY TOOL CALLS JUST PUT.

Almost nobody knows this but voice dictation is solved by a little know app by @kitlangton. I've used several and after using Hex for weeks I'm not going back. Other apps started charging or had arbitrary limits. Hex is free + OS, uses local models (which are more than good
