I’m sorry to hear this! Only speaking for me, I used to be a Resource Teacher and I would leave my phone and keys in different classrooms throughout the day. I personally shouldn’t be anywhere near a gun. I hope your son is doing better!

After 9/11 we made it harder to get on a plane, with no fly lists, banned item lists, stricter boarding process, we pretty much made common sense plan laws, Then they locked the cockpit doors. But the important thing is after it happened…we at least did something 🤷🏼♂️

Actually yes, I know there were regulations and checks done on travelers done after 9/11. I was there. I traveled very soon after 9/11. I was really grateful for those checks because it was terrifying to fly after 9/11 so I support gun control. Thanks for the explanation.

They want to give some of the most disrespected, underpaid, under appreciated, and overworked people guns? Instead of a raise and banning guns?! Make “protect and serve” a teachers job, while they can’t feed their families, but millions are spent so the cops can look cool?!

After 911 we did ban box cutters which is the weapon they used. So the comparable act would be banning guns, ammo and body armor.
