Yes, I know John Amos was in the first season of The Mary Tyler Moore Show and is still alive. There are plenty of supporting and/or recurring guest stars who were on both MTM and Golden Girls and are still here. They are not the ones who I am referring to in this tweet.

I am only referring to the main casts of both shows and the people pictured above.

That being said….we now need to protect John Amos at all costs.

@meralee727 Even though I was born in 1974, I saw every episode of MTM, Rhoda, All in the Family, Maude and obviously Golden Girls. Talented people cross generations.

@TweetiepieHawly I was born in 1978….I used to watch a lot of them on Nick at Nite but I do remember watching episodes of the Golden Girls when they aired. I agree with you….
