This future requires a neutral conduit to let personal data flow between LLMs. Your data, your memory, should be portable. It should be user-owned and controlled so you can manage it. Memory Vaults are the first step.

For example, if you want to take your info to Claude, follow the instructions to connect Memory MCP to Claude. Now Claude has all your historical context from ChatGPT. Not just Claude, though. Any MCP compatible tool will have access to your chatGPT data with your permission.
