@melindiscott @SusanlLawson My wife and I romped into Bologna last week without ever having to show a document at all. Which is just as well as she'd left her passport and national ID at home in Sweden. 😁

@ArchiePelargo @SusanlLawson Husband did that once on the way to Le Mans. No problem on the way out. Trying to get an overtired bedraggled racing driver back was character building. He has never done it again

@melindiscott @SusanlLawson took my brother in law an hour and a half to get through passport control at Bologna due to checks on his now Brexit required work visa, he was late for his meetings and had to stay overnight as he missed his return flight due to meetings finishing later than expected

@melindiscott @SusanlLawson As we did in Naples last year. Having heard all the horror stories, we expected queues, there was only one - at the EU gate but we Brits sped through ours. And by the way, I love having my passport stamped!

@melindiscott @SusanlLawson Standard for probably 99.9% of us TBH. Voted remain myself but bored rigid of the airport queue and empty supermarket shelves pics - neither of which I've ever experienced 🤷

It's going to get worse when the new checks come in thanks to leaving the EU. I'm afraid it was the brexit that man voted for, he just didn't listen to the experts 🤨
