PENN paid to rebrand as ESPN Bet. ESPN has no direct involvement in how PENN operates. The league agreed to a deal with DK, FD and CZR back in 2021 for $1B. It's been profiting from sports gambling directly for a while, has it not?. What am I missing here?.
The NFL will own 10% of ESPN, which licenses its name to a sportsbook. The NFL will directly profit from sports gambling. Goodell said in 2017, “We still strongly oppose legalized sports gambling. The integrity of our game is No. 1. We will not compromise on that.”.

Harbaugh has a great ATS record in the preseason for his career. He also hasn't covered a preseason game since 2022. My man doesn't give a rip about the meaningless games anymore and the market was slow to catch up.
