I would love to do both, but I also have a 9 - 5 dev job and a family. So its either one or the other given time constraints

Having to decide to spend the majority of my time on a freelance project for a client (guaranteed 10s of thousands) vs. working on what I believe could be a HUGE winner in the consumer app space (based on extensive market research) is kicking my ass right now.
