Fun to join the European DIGITAL SME Alliance showcase of trusted marketing tools made in Europe πͺπΊ We talked about keeping Plausible simple and avoiding the remote control problem of becoming yet another bloated, hard-to-use product. Check it out β https://t.co/ImFW3n8JzW

Last week we made Plausible even easier to use: β
Change optional measurements and other settings without touching your snippet β
Automatically track form completions with zero setup β
Use our Tag Manager template to track custom events and dimensions based on GTM-triggers

I've looked at the Plausible dashboard daily for 6 years now and never noticed this tiny misalignment. Our new designer spotted it on day one and fixed it. Going live today with a few other small design tweaks. Fresh eyes!

I did have one call last week. And another lined up this week but this one is a podcast interview. For comparison: in my old job, one day could have as many meetings as I now do in a month.
Inside Plausible, we have a No Meetings culture. Instead of constant calls and calendar clutter, we prioritize: - Clear, thoughtful internal documentation - Async collaboration - Trust in each other to own our time We only gather intentionally when it matters: team offsites,

I was invited on the Subscription Heroes podcast to share the Plausible story. It's on now wherever you get podcasts if you're curious.

How our "sales" process works: β’ Nov 2023: Bigco sends questions. We reply β’ 19 months of silence β’ June 2025: Trial begins β’ July: They ask for a quote No chasing. Just patience and trust in the product. I wonder if a sales team would speed it up or scare them off.

SSO is almost ready! Itβs our first feature that feels complicated to use. Not because weβve changed direction but because it relies on flows outside our control. Letβs see how it goes and whether we can help troubleshoot when things get weird on the identity provider side π€·ββοΈπ¬

"They Made $1 Million Going Against Google" I like it when interviews are turned into stories with takeaways and context. More engaging and useful than the raw recording. Nice summary of how Plausible grew: https://t.co/OFzxgdqyU5

Wild day at Plausible yesterday. We welcomed our biggest and second-biggest subscribers. The bigger one does a billion pageviews a month π€― Crazy to see how far we've come. All without investors, paid ads or sales calls. Thanks to everyone who's supported us on this journey!

I expected interest in GA alternatives to slow down after the UA-GA4 transition but that hasn't been the case. We hit a record number of signups in April (2,237 trials) and Monday was our best day yet (109 trials). One of these trials recorded 200M+ pageviews in first two days!

Exciting week for us at Plausible! We launched Saved Segments and Scroll Depth (your top two feature requests) and we made it to 15,011 active subscribers! Thank you all for your trust and support! πππ₯³ (And a reminder that shipping new features doesn't necessarily result in

I suggested an idea to the Gnome Linux team to add a reminder feature that encourages people to take breaks from the screen to help reduce eye strain. Really glad to see that it's about to be included in the next release!

Our best year yet! We made the most of the opportunities opened up by the UA to GA4 transition. Let's see what the next year has in store!
It's a wrap for 2024. π«Ά Here's everything new we shipped this year: - Segment by custom properties - See percentage of visitors using VPNs - Block traffic from specific IP addresses, countries, pages, and hostnames. - Filter stats by subdomain - Import GA4 stats and custom

My favorite part of product development is taking early versions of new features and simplifying them by removing all unnecessary elements while preserving their core functionality.

One SaaS pricing best practice Iβm not fond of is defaulting to annual subscriptions while displaying the monthly price. It feels a bit sneaky and I wouldnβt appreciate it as a customer.
