Today has been my toughest day yet as Chairman of

. On a personal note I want to say a massive thanks to
@leemoz9
for his 3 years.
Regardless of opinions I have nothing but praise for his work (7th place/Cup Semi). As a man and manager I have nothing but respect.

It is absolutely devastating to see the pitch flooded again by the River Dove, the 3rd time in 3 years.
Gutted for the hardworking volunteers that work so hard & for our fantastic teams.
We invest heavily to make the pitch as good as we can but no investment can stop this.

Today we reached 3000 fans at our home games at The Pinto Property Stadium for the 1st time ever.
With an average over 130 & 7th best in the league its a far cry from 5 years ago when we were averaging less than 40 & played 1 game in front of 10 fans!

I have worked with & met some fantastic people.
The world of non-league football is hardwork but is massively rewarding.

Any proposal to restart football at
@NCEL
level without supporters is madness.
Offering grants (loans) is neither helpful or financially helpful if you can't afford to pay the money back.
No income plus ongoing costs means clubs will not survive.

Everyone seems to have an NCEL opinion here is mine.
Can't criticise the player(s) if they are offered money that pays their mortgage etc then hard to turn down.
Can't criticise the club, if they believe it's financially sustainable then it's up to the custodians of the club.

story is pretty sad- whatever your thoughts I don't think you can criticise a guy that had a dream to run a football club, finance it and end up in the FA Cup proper. I know others will disagree but i think he should be applauded not criticised

Night's like tonight are never easy. Fudge has been a great servant to the Briggers so I am disappointed & upset, but respectful of his decision to step down.
We have had a great relationship over 3 years - we part with mutual respect & as friends with some fantastic memories.

Disappointing that someone reported us to BMBC about the social distancing measures we have in place.
We have Track & Trace in place, clear signage around the ground, one way system in place & have volunteers asking people to socially distance.
Not sure what more we can do?

Not gunna lie had a few sleepless nights but will be a proud day to take a Briggers team to Germany today as part of our Centenary Season.
I am sure there will be a few more bumps along the way but can only plan and prepare so much.

Its easy to criticise clubs when games are postponed, people don't see the hours volunteers give up to get games played.
The weather has killed us all this season & after another busy morning trying to prepare for 3 home games don't criticise if you aren't prepared to help.

Despite our best season for 18 years & finishing 7th we have missed out on an FA Cup place. Places were based on points per game & we were under the threshold across the step.

Last night I represented WBAFC at a Civic Reception with key influencers from Barnsley.
We swapped shirts with FC Normannia to seal our clubs partnership & look forward to visiting Germany in July to play our first game against them before they return to Barnsley next Summer.

I am no Sheff Utd fan but can't help thinking the Chris Wilder departure is the wrong move - did a great job over 5 years and 1 poor season with no fans (United's 12th man), and a limited budget and all change.
