Imagine the plight of the those Maharashtrians when they travel abroad with the same passport & Hardly anyone in that country speaks in Marathi.
Ws at the pssprt office in Baramati. The officer thr knew only Hindi. Long line of rural Marathi spkrs ws unable to undrstnd or get info on documents. Beating up employees is bad and so is ignoring the plight of Marathis who are denied service assuming they know Hindi by default!

@mananspeaks Imagine not considering that many people go abroad to meet family or as a part of a tour group too, which does not require English. Just imagine being so insensitive as to think issuance of basic citizenship documents should be subject to knowledge of a distant language. Komedy!

@indieprathmesh Hindi is our national language. This divisive politics is baseless. Every family, village, town has a helper/translator who helps with such basic communication gaps and such government registration tasks.
