There can be no ecumenical dialogue with Anglicanism, because Anglicanism is a different religion.

Canterbury Cathedral, where St Thomas Becket was martyred just next to the nave, is hosting a “90s Silent Disco” over two nights Feb. 8-9. 3,000 people expected to take part. Faithful are protesting against the event with prayer vigils outside @CburyCathedral

@maksimologija Though “Anglicanism” is becoming increasingly distinct from the Church of England.

@maksimologija Anglicanism isn’t a communion anymore and is unified in name only. I believe there are strands of Anglicanism one can dialogue with but The Church of England is long gone

@maksimologija Ye that’s weird. In Greece, at least, we host a church service, and parade around the village with a relic of the Saint, and then afterwards we have a Greek party (panigiri), but it’s NOTHING like this. We have Greek music, dancing, and beer.

@maksimologija This is like when Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the 10 Commandments and the people had made a Golden Calf with dancing and orgies.
