The Church predates the Bible, and the Church wrote the Bible. The Bible lives in the Church.

It's clear you don't understand where or who the word is. This is the false teaching Catholics never study scriptures and worship an institution above Christ.

So you'd choose infallible scripture over a falliable institution.
If you're honest, you'll admit that the Church has wronged in its actions various times.
Without the gospels, the church wouldn't exist. The disciples wrote it, which then gave the Church fathers knowledge
