Update: They just hit their goal of $25K. The first 5K attendees of the 6/13 game get a shirt upon arrival. Pretty amazing. Again, I’ve never heard of a fan-funded giveaway like this before.
#Athletics FANS are funding their own giveaway for the June 13th game. I doubt think this has ever happened in the history of MLB. So far $18K has been raised. Unreal.

Make Westing bar in Oakland has been closed since mid-March. Co-owner Glenn Kaplan wrote a letter to @CityofOaklandCA AND @AlamedaCounty officials re: his frustrations in trying to figure out how- and whether - to reopen. We'll hear about the frustration at 8:22 on @KQEDnews .
