Figured out how to make hexagons in my little pseudo 3D GBC game. Pretty proud of myself for that one.

I'm have the honor of being one of the judges for the #gbcompo25! But because it's that time of the year I had to tinker with something so I've been messing with a pseudo 3D GBC game controlled by the Kirby Tilt-N-Tumble accelerometer flash cart.

To fix my issue I broke off a bit of the heat sheild so that there's ample room for the new ribbon assembly. This fixed my issue with room. I do think a cleverly placed cutout would also do the trick. I think the whole ribbon assembly could use some work though still.

Oh also, the battery connector assembly sits directly under a little notch on the bottom of the switch lite shell next to the usb-c port. I can get around this though by folding the assembly a bit.

My main issue though is the heat plate should have a cutout for the ribbon connector so that there's some room for it and it's not pressed up against the battery so hard. If I had a dremel I'd do it myself but I don't. Maybe my battery is starting to swell but I can't be sure.

Also, I tried messing around with the little buttons, and one of them (i believe the SRGB mode) gets messed up after the switch goes into sleep mode. The colors turn extremely red almost like B/G are turned down a bunch.

I never posted this here. A few months back, I made a version of #DiveBlob to work with an @inside_gadgets accelerometer cart. I thought it was pretty neat.
