@lyzl I gotta say, Lyz, I love you! Men rarely know they're getting divorced until she tells him. Do they really not get this?? This is not about them being in a happy marriage it's about them being in denial. Men who are taking responsibility--asking and listening, that's who I want.

@lyzl My dad used to say, "You never know what's going on in someone else's marriage." But now I realize a lot of people don't know what's going on in their own marriage.

@lyzl Saying you are bitter is dismissive & and puts the onus in the wrong place. Lashing out at you because it forces them to put the mirror up. These guys are likely in a very unhappy marriage, they just are getting their needs met, or met enough.

@lyzl This is why they get defensive & lash out angrily. Men who know they do not treat their wives fairly are terrified their wives are going to learn they deserve better. They already know. Happy women do not leave but a lot of unhappy women are strategizing an exit.
