We've been placing 'ratcams' in alleys throughout #Chicago to get a look at rat abundance throughout the city, but rats are not the only species we see. Check out this opossum investigating our camera!

This paper is VERY important. We sampled raccoons, skunks, and opossum for rodenticide throughout #Chicago and detected it IN EVERY SINGLE ONE, even opossum joeys weaning on their mother! Check out this thread for more details.

It's been confirmed that the family of owls in Lincoln Park that died this year was the result of rodenticide poisoning for all three owls. #Chicago .
