@lovemyblackness Richard Pryor had similar feelings fifty-sixty years ago. I agree, I've always felt a kinship to Africans (Black).

@GIFTD_N_BLCK Yes Richard Pryor did. He had a real experience. The problem is the disdain African have towards BA. That’s the problem. That’s we don’t embrace like we used to because they hop on these platforms and let us know how they feel about us.

@lovemyblackness who was it in a majority white country that protested in mass and got their government to change? Who fought and marched in the streets for years to get their rights and freedom?

@lovemyblackness Thank you for that discussion Steve. I do believe “black” “African Americans” have had time/and some still need time to think about and to process the events of our separation be it continental drift or “un”natural selection. Most importantly an apology from “Africa” is crucial.

@lovemyblackness There definitely need to be change in both African and “black” “African American” actions towards one another; before we can truly move forward.

@lovemyblackness We can’t afford to continue the mis-education of who we are. That’s what the culture vultures count on in order to take our weaknesses and exploit them. So as hard as it may be to hold back an apology… It’s necessary.

@lovemyblackness This is the same man who reprimanded Monique for not "playing the game" and for standing up for herself. I don't look to Steve Harvey for any intelligent take on Black issues.

@lovemyblackness Not a single person in that room has even the slightest inkling of what a slave lived through and he's talking to them like they just fled a plantation yesterday.

@lovemyblackness If you've never been to Africa (i lived in Rwanda for 2 years) you have no idea what this man is talking about. Instead of divisive nonsense, we should be uniting.

@lovemyblackness Anybody denying that we and our culture are African, obviously, hasn't studied history or had any conversations with the elders in their family.
