@love4elodie I don't think it was by any means a flop, we got a few nice cosmetics, some cool themes, and some extra bp which is always welcome. It's true what they say, DbD community will find anything to complain about, they're just bored.

@love4elodie But like, both events were just event hooks and gens. The wasn't anything that shook up gameplay. I think it was more to do with dbd being in a good place for the time more than it being about the event. The game changed a lot during the second event.

@love4elodie the game was so much better and fun in summer, idk why but as a survivo main i always get tunnelers now

@love4elodie i was just mad that they removed the fun grill aesthetic from the hooks and made the margarita machines look so much blander

@love4elodie The problem is all of the events are still just core DBD with a bit of extra. And when there are secondary things to do like the void at Halloween half the people ignore it anyway and it's just the same old boring game

@love4elodie Ngl I think nostalgia got a lot of us. I started playing dbd when the OG Summer BBQ Event was happening. I guess the newness and one time event made us remember it being more special.
