They were invited to watch movies, and see the antiques that Lonnie and Robert had. and they all lived happily ever after! Really? Going there? Why not… I’m the writer here! AND THEY ALL LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER (Without demons interrupting this happy home.)

Joe stayed busy with his auto parts and electronics stores at the Loud House Mall. They met the Changs and other people who were associated with Lonnie and Leni. They met the Casagrandes and all the Loud siblings and their friends.

They all became close friends, and of course, Sirri and Vicki wanted to go over there all the time now just like every other kid around. Lonnie and Leni helped Joe and Dianne gain notoriety, and Leni was in Dianne’s Home Designing, which was flourishing within Royal Woods.

Joe and Dianne met Robert and Carol, Glen and Fiona, and started going to lunch after church. Joe and Dianne came to know the Lord as their Savior. Joe slowed down on the beer till he quit drinking altogether. They started joining in on the BBQs and get-togethers.

From that point on, there weren’t any more problems, they finally got Joe’s store finished, Lucy and her friends were glad to have Sirri and Vicky with them, they visited 'The Palace' to play games and have fun, and they started attending church every Sunday.

Lonnie tells Joe and Dianne that he is having the cemetery investigated to be sure it’s safe because Lucy and her friends go out there and he is concerned about their safety and others that may go over there. Sirri and Vicki didn’t know Lucy was their family until now.

John’s crew is finished with the work on the houses, but the store at the mall is not finished yet. Lonnie tells Joe he will take care of the hospital bill, and he’s giving Joe 6 months' rent off. Lonnie and Leni are still surprising people, but that’s just their nature. ^-^

Lonnie and Leni find out Joe's home again, and they drop by to check on him. Leni has to hug! When she grabs Joe, the pain is excruciating! She didn’t think about that, but she did think about giving him a ‘nose peck’, and Lonnie hugs Dianne and the kids and they get a nose peck.

After a stay in the hospital, Joe is released and heads home. Guess what is the first thing he does when he gets home? You got it… beer time! Dianne did a little something for Joe, she went and bought him a case of beer, but he’s not able to work yet.

(Sirri) “Mommy, it’s not working!” (Joe) “I knew it; if you’re not getting the kids to plot on me… you’re getting them to plot against the beer.” (Vicki) “Why isn’t it working mommy? Daddy still wants a beer.” (Joe) “Honey, how could you?”

(Sirri) “Daddy, can you stop drinking beer?” (Joe) “Dianne, what are you teaching these kids? I get it now… you’re plotting against me by getting the kids to get me to stop my beer. Sirri, honey, you will understand when you are older, and you find your own ‘Joe’.”

(Dianne) “Your loss too, I’m not smuggling you any beer in here, and you can’t go get one.” (Joe) “Honey… Please?” (Dianne) “Honey… No!” (Joe) “You’re just no fun at all!” (Dianne) “You’re right! That’s not my idea of fun.” (Joe) “Sigh”

(Dianne) “There are a lot of guys out there and they don’t have to have their beer.” (Joe) “That’s their loss… if there are any Joe’s out there, they know what I mean… beer!” (Dianne) “I’m sure there is a ‘Joe’ out there that doesn’t drink beer.” (Joe) “Again… their loss!”

(Joe) “That blasted demon! I want a rematch! That bloomin’ thing took my beer away from me!” (Dianne) “Really? You’re laid up in the hospital with broken ribs and now a back problem, and you're mad about the beer?” (Joe) “I’m a guy! I’ve gotta have my beer!”

While Dianne is getting Sirri ready to check out, Vicki talks to Joe for a while. Dianne comes back in and Joe tries to get her to check him out, but that’s not happening. He wants her to bring him at least 2 beers, but that’s not happening either.

(Sirri) “Daddy, I don’t want to help you work anymore!” (Joe) “I understand, and that’s a good thing! If you start wanting me to let you help… I’m going to call those preachers again for an early start to find out what I’m dealing with.” Joe starts to laugh, but that's painful.

They have already told Joe that he can’t leave and why. (Joe) “That demon was a big pest… having me on my back without beer!” (Dianne) “This would be a great time to quit drinking beer!” (Joe) “Was that a comedy act you’re trying out on me?”

Not only are his ribs broken, but there’s a displacement in his back. They are going to try to do all they can to prevent surgery. Joe asks Dianne if she brought him a 6 pack, and never did get a response. Oh well… that was a wasted breath of air.

The next day sneaks up and Dianne and Vicki get to the hospital. They get to Joe and Sirri’s room and everything seems to be alright with Sirri... she can check out and go home, but Joe has to stay for a while.
