But to me, it isn’t about politics. It’s about being victimized, it’s about trauma, it’s about the terrifying reality of sexual abuse and sexual assault. 3/?

The line “impeach him / you’re all in denial” still makes people uncomfortable and I’ve been asked to change it or to remove it. People have told me to stay away from politics in my writing. 2/?

I Couldn’t Tell was written when I first started experiencing symptoms of PTSD. I was coming to terms with my trauma and felt so angry and heartbroken. 1/?
