The poem was written through conversations with participants, volunteers, artists, collaborators, and the LeftCoast team, both past and present. We sourced footage from deep within the archive and worked with Huckleberry Films to showcase our programme.

The National Gallery is heading to Blackpool with its Art Road Trip. LeftCoast will host the visit as artists and art educators tour the town.

The Art Road Trip will arrive in Blackpool on 11th September and will tour the town until 21st September from 10am to 3pm across 9 days. Each volunteer shift will be 2.5 hours long. You can put in as many or as little shifts as you’d like – every one makes a difference.
