Late Friday, July 11, Travis County Judge Andy Brown closed Lake Travis to all recreational, commercial and navigational uses other than emergency responders or representatives of state or local agencies that access Lake Travis. More info:

Floodgate operations at Wirtz and Starcke dams have concluded. Inflows continue to be passed from overnight rainfall through hydroelectric generation. The water will be passed downstream into Lake Travis.

As of 12 PM, Lake Travis has risen more than 21 feet since Friday morning and is projected to rise to 658-659 ft msl in the next few days. Lake Buchanan has risen over 9 feet and is projected to rise to 1,012-1,013 ft msl in the next few days.
