We continued our pre-season friendlies with an away trip to @LittlehamptonCC Vice-Captain Fin Cheal won the toss and elected to bat🏏 A delayed start resulted in a 30-over match, to which Manor racked up 208/3 with thanks to Cheal (67) and a maiden half-century from Curran (66*)

Chasing 252 runs, Manor were soon 21-5 before Curran (38) and Ingleby (46) put on 54 for 6th wicket. Late order fell away for 115 all out. A tough day but some good personal highlights to build on!🏏

Manor kicked off the 2024 season on Sunday with a friendly against Storrington. Manor won the toss and elected to bowl. After aggressive batters 2&3 retired at 50, things settled as Kelly (2-36), Sameja (3-32), Radford (3-22) and Curran (1-25) chipped away.

Terry's funeral service is on Friday 1st March 2024 at Worthing Crematorium Kingswood Chapel at 11:00am.

He was the perfect candidate to be Club President (2011 to 2020) before standing down. He donated the Presidents Trophy which bears his name for the individual highlight of the summer. He will be greatly missed by all those who played with him over the last 30+ years. RIP Tel.

Having joined the club in 1992 as a 48-year-old alongside his 17-year-old son, Dan, Terry went on to play a total of 288 club matches up until 2019, when he was 74!

Terry Griffin (9th February 1944 – 4th February 2024) It is with much sadness that the club has heard the passing of our former President, Terry Griffin, aged 79.

We would love to see as many faces as possible in readiness for our first game in April and look forward to seeing new faces 🏏

Winter Indoor Nets 2024 📅 Sunday 25th February ⏰ 5:30pm-7pm 📍Arundel Park, Arundel, West Sussex, BN18 9LH We will be back up and running with our winter net sessions to prepare for the season. Nets will continue every Sunday, time and location for 6 weeks. 🏏

On 28th January 1922, Charles Bernard Skinner, John Farrow, Melville Jones, Lewis Edwards and George Kerswell founded Worthing Old Grammarian CC which is now known to be LMCC! We look forward to many new and regular faces as we start the season in April. 🏏
