I think it’s like saying that bc Beyoncé exists Micheal Jackson is no longer the king of pop. I think while you can compare, when artists get to a certain level they exist as their own legend. They can’t be diminished by other talent. They legacy stands on its own

Be afraid that BTS can also get eclipsed eventually. They may not always be the favorite top idols. There are plenty young talented artists coming up with incredible things. Its good to be humble
