I want my work to be a flare—disturbing the comfort of those who benefit from injustice, and lighting a path for those who resist. 10/10.

Solidarity with the marginalized, the restless, and everyone who refuses to settle for the world as it is. 9/10.

If my art sparks discomfort or questions in people who would rather look away, then I know it’s pushing in the right direction. 8/10.

Art that serves profit, or hides behind buzzwords and innovation for innovation’s sake, is just another mask for old systems. 7/10.

I’m deeply critical of the crypto-tech world and the culture of “bro” exceptionalism it breeds. 6/10.

Art isn’t a status symbol or a way to polish reputations. It’s meant to confront, to challenge, to disturb. 5/10.

I have no interest in pleasing the wealthy elite who collect art like trophies, chasing the image of philanthropy while ignoring the deeper voids in their lives. 4/10.

There’s nothing neutral about apathy when the world is burning. If my work upsets people who glorify passivity, then it’s doing its job. 3/10.

I hope what I create brings discomfort—maybe even anger—to right-wingers, to “leftist” reactionaries, and to anyone who floats through life, avoiding conflict just to “live quietly.”.2/10.

The last thing I want from my art is to entertain or reassure anyone.1/10.
