Had to write something on this. I was a bunch of data points. And by the reaction I got, pretty common as well. Feels weird to say that I don’t wish to accept it. It’s dehumanizing. So part rant, part honest take on the circus people call arranged marriages. Link in bio.

My objective is to find internet influencers (platform agnostic) who are building IPs on the back of long form content. Be it written, audio or video. This way I fight against short form slop everywhere. Been successful in finding some of them on twitter. Search continues.

If you’re talented and are useful to a regime / organisation in such a manner that in case you deflect and go to a competitor, it’s a major loss for them, then you’ll never be laid off. Job security for life. Case in point Nazi researchers who helped USA reach the moon.

With age, we accumulate scars, which open us up to art. Take Van Gogh’s Irises. When you look at those flowers, you’re not just seeing a pretty painting. You’re seeing a man who was shattered. A man who was suffering deeply, like a tormented saint. He was lonely. He ached for

Just like in movies, there’s happily ever after and nobody knows what happens next. Same way in history lessons, we were taught something till a major event and bam, chapter ends. Like till date I had no idea what happened to Berlin and Germany in general after Russia and.

There’s a new FOMO in town. Fear of Missing out on AI Tool Usecases. Everyone is preaching some new way they are using AI tools and we wonder, Oh I’ve not used it this way damn. I get this damn 15 times a day. A reminder that I’m not using AI to its full potential.

I just got on with it and exhausted my free tier in less than 2 hours. I like reading, and that is the only action this product expects people to do. I am their target audience. All I could think was that all these GPTs and their ability to give summaries of podcasts, yet this.

Simple sign up, a video which I did not see, and a clear copy of what I was supposed to do. Pin the extension. What I loved about this is that there was no long ass explanation. Non-Mandatory video, and that is it. Even without video, it's pretty clear what this product does.

Found an amazing product - Recall dot AI. I heard about this product through some tweets, and I instantly wanted to download it because I have been looking for a summarization tool that could help me distill the information packed into podcasts. Most of the existing ones

Comet browser could be a scrappy MVP but there are second order effects in place already. Someone barely technical as me is discussing about it to my peers and tech leads. It seems almost impossible something like this can exist. Some kid must be looking at it and wondering.

This podcast will again take me into a rabbit hole of some math problem I ran away from, years ago. But something that caught my attention more than anything is the idea that all famous mathematicians were deeply religious, including but not limiting to Ramanujan. I believe.

🚨New episode . Honestly, I don't know what to say. Living with Ramanujan's story has been heart-wrecking in the most beautiful way - his triumph and his tragedy. I hope I've been able to convey some of my catharsis through this episode. Do listen :')

I’m not sure where I read it but it said that most of us are second hand human beings. Living our lives through a screen.

And it just hit me. That long term effect of media and the distribution it gets is amazing. Especially when code comes dime a dozen. Media is lindier than code. Image is from a blog written by George Mack.

A follow up to this: . A lot of famous VCs and founders are building their own YT channels and doubling down on creating content here. Content which people demands. A famous VC was explaining what Carl Jung said and how that should fuel someone’s startup journey.

With Myntra coming up with Gleamsteam, there’s one thing for sure. All these tech companies with all their AI and yet they wish to become a media company. Something worth looking at.

We are a selective socialist country by nature. There’s this book called ‘How India votes’ by an election strategist and it proves everything what OP is implying below. There can be constraints that I am not aware about but wish to learn why subsidy is always our way to go.

Parents will keep on sending their kids for CS degrees. It will be a leveller and a dream for the kid who must have seen their parents have less than others. Everyone wants to be a writer and filmmaker till the rent is due.

Status will give them power or atleast some sense of power. All these people on internet make a big issue that art and literature culture is so poor in India do not actually understand India. It’s a race to gather resource and STEM has been the way to go since last 3 decades.

You can cringe at someone flaunting their car, house or long distance trips in India. But for a country like India where resources are less and powerful have more access to things than normal public, mimetic monkeys will always chase status.

A Person born in a resource starved country will always chase Status, Power, Stability so as to have better access to resources. A person born in an affluent place will chase Art, culture, Literature, risk , thrill. There is no final truth in life,it all depends on your context.
