I've estimated tasks for two-week sprints in software development for about 15 years. Typically, 13points=entire sprint, 8points=less than two weeks, 5points=less than a week, and 3, 2, or 1point(s)=few day(s). Yes! It is about TIME (resource) estimation! AND ITS FINE!!!.

I love JavaScript, but its community feels like a soccer team where everyone plays alone, wears the number 10 shirt, uses their own ball, and aims for different goals. Java, Ruby, and C# developers seem to know the right ball and goal.
