unironically what happened to me back in the day though? store kept game cases empty and all games in storage to avoid theft, you brought them to the counter and got the disc there.
Clerk put the vanilla P3 disc in the FES case, only realised it at home. no refunds

NGL I'm still mad they repackaged P5 Royale and resold it as a new full price game for PS5, PC, Xbox and Switch when it's the exact same fucking version as Persona 5 Royale for PS4
