Last week, the @BBCTheOneShow featured the inspiring true story behind @netflix Six Triple Eight, starring Kerry Washington. The 6888 Central Postal Directory Battalion was an all-female, predominantly African-American unit stationed at @KESBham during the WWII. 📨📷 (1/2).

Yesterday pupils and staff got into the festive spirit by wearing Christmas jumpers to support Birmingham Children’s Hospital.🎅🎄. Thank you to everyone who joined in and spread the Christmas cheer! 👏

Friday evening saw our Thirds put on their dancing shoes for the annual Christmas Disco 🪩🎶.Thank you to the KEHS Parents' Association for organising such a fun event! 👏✨

What a spectacular three-concert run of KES & KEHS Christmas Concerts 🎶. Thank you to all our talented musicians and choirs for spreading Christmas cheer and to everyone who joined us to celebrate. 🎼✨

A huge congratulations to our U14 Tennis Team, who secured 3rd place at the LTA National Finals! 🏆👏. Well done to Esther (Thirds), Tanishka, Anusha, and Freya (Upper Fourths) for this fantastic achievement! ✨🎾

Last week we celebrated Sustainability Week promoting eco-friendly choices. 🌱💚. Pupils enjoyed a sustainable Christmas decoration workshop, sampled delicious overnight oats and supported a second-hand clothes sale, which raised an amazing £105 for the charity @coolearth ! 👚🌏

It’s been a week since the KE Community Christmas, and we’re still feeling festive! @KEHSOldEds 🎅🎄. It was wonderful to see our whole community off pupils, parents, and Old Edwardians, come together to celebrate the season and all things KE! 🤝✨

It’s hard to believe it’s been a week since the incredible Junior Production of Lord of the Flies! 🎭. With a company of 70 talented junior performers and a crew of equally dedicated seniors, they were proud to bring this powerful story to life.🎉. Bravo to everyone involved! 👏
