Twitter is expected to send a letter today to former employees who left in Nov.'s mass layoff, outlining the terms of their severance, according to people familiar.

Terms will likely vary a bit, depending on where the ex-employees are based — different states have different labor laws.

I posted this on Wednesday and, after several delays, notices were finally sent to former Twitter employees late Fri/early Sat. Some hit spam folders, while it seems some former employees still have yet to receive theirs.

@kateconger Expected by who? Employees who left, or whatever is left of the human resources department? Those are two very different things. (I don’t think anything was sent today.)

@kateconger Does this means people who left in November weren't being paid their severance already?
