As of yesterday, Evusheld protects against less than 30% of circulating variants, & less every week. For those of you who had a dose, be careful esp w/ holiday gatherings. https://t.co/pvgohQOzdE

Twitter fam, thank you for helping me to find the family of the 9 year old girl from NJ who had the police called on her by her neighbor for collecting lantern flies. I connected with them & invited them to @yale for a Black girl led Science Tour! Yesterday—HISTORY was MADE (1/)

The AIDS pandemic took a life every minute in 2021, even though effective treatments are available. This #WorldAIDSDay, we must join together and call on leaders to ensure everyone has access to the life-saving HIV services they need. Let's #Equalize! 👇🏾 https://t.co/jilxOMwVBa

Perfect New England morning! 🍁 🍂 Gave some blood for our COVID-19 biorepository for my buddy @airisyc @BIDMC_CVVRTrial and then got my booster. It’s been a year since my last shot, which is wild. p.s. the best way to get into @NEJM is to donate your blood to the Barouch Lab

Good news on COVID-19 variants. The current sub-lineages BQ.1s & XBBs are not causing a deadly wave of infections in world. In South Africa, which many times see things early in Omicron evolution BQ1s & XBB low prevalence & no cause for great concern.

This is some top notch public health messaging and it’s from the heart. Thank you @PatinkinMandy and glad you are feeling better!
Just had Covid for the first time. I'm incredibly grateful I had the vaccine & was up to date with my boosters. Over 300 a day still dying in US. Vaccine & boosters offer protection against hospitalization & death. 100% TRUE. #covid19 #grateful #thankyoudoctors #thankyouscience
