Bobby Witt Jr’s wRC+ through 60 MLB plate appearances is higher than his wRC+ through 60 AA plate appearances last year. So yeah, he’s gonna be fine

I've been wondering. should KC have started Witt lower in lineup to start? The expectations were already insanely high should KC have hit him 6th or 7th then move him up in order when he got comfortable

Probably. But hindsight is always 20/20 right? Moving him down has taken some pressure off him now and he’s getting comfortable. Wouldn’t shock me if they move him back up soon once he gets some more PA under his belt.

All I know is the way that kid plays defense I'm ok with cutting him some slack on the hitting for now!!

He is going to be OK. Maybe he's a slow starter.
Then again, maybe MLB isn't AA.
Either way, he's going to adjust and be at least good, maybe great.
