Today, as we bid farewell to a remarkable leader, let us carry forward his legacy of service, unity, and progress. Rest in peace, Edward Ngoyai Lowassa.

President Samia Suluhu Hassan led mourners in paying their final respects to this revered leader. In Monduli District, where Lowassa's legacy shines brightest, his impact was profound. He championed education by establishing boarding secondary schools in over ten wards.

Today, I had the solemn honor of attending the burial ceremony of Edward Ngoyai Lowassa, former Prime Minister of Tanzania, at his home in Monduli, Arusha, Tanzania. Lowassa was laid to rest this afternoon at his ancestral village of Ngarash in Monduli District, Arusha Region.
