"Patient Safety is not something to achieve and move on, it's a JOURNEY!". Made me think how far in this journey are we from the Global South? I got some work when I head back home 🌍. #SESAM2025 #LMIC

"It Looks Great—But It Doesn’t Work”: Why Architects and Sim Experts Must Design Together" Very key: especially for #LMIC with many funded simulation centres/spaces that have many design flaws making it difficult to promote learning. https://t.co/KFgBAmKCmR

I find VR in healthcare equally exciting: it has the potential to expedite comprehension in medical education by giving some "life" and compressing complex literature. A great opportunity for #LMIC settings. @afrisimnetwork

Amazing! If the cost factor can be worked on, I see this as an area where LMIC can tap in much faster than acquiring physical hardware that comparatively is far beyond reach. @afrisimnetwork

Produces the same results, whether low cost simulation models or high fidelity/interactive and 'expensive' simulation models. #LMIC need to embrace simulation more.
Why Simulation? -Reduces medical errors -Identity patient care threats -Increase team performance -Improve patient outcomes #simulation #simulationtraining #simulationeducation

A very interesting way to improve realism especially in #LMIC where standardized patients are mostly used due to the financial constraints in acquiring high fidelity manikins. @afrisimnetwork

#echomask on a standardized patient as well as a manikin? Yes!!! Leading the way in #realism @ASPiHUK

Assessment days can take substantial planning and resources and are not always guaranteed to be completely standardized. See how one university is using VR as both an educational and an assessment tool for their learners here: https://t.co/CeZHwNusY1
