REMEMBERING 10 DECEMBER 1959... About hundred people gathered at the old location cemetery in Windhoek this morning to commemorate the 10 December 1959 forced removal from the old location. Inhabitants were moved to Katutura, provoking a mass protest which led to a massacre.

The NAGN is calling on all artists to submit works of 2D, 3D or ephemeral (performance) nature to be considered for exhibition. The Main Gallery of the NAGN will be divided up into 2x2 squares of 'freedom' which the artist will work with.
