Would anyone be interested in being my guest "chef" for my Farm Foodies meeting on Dec 16th @UGE_HCS ? You don't have to be a real chef, and all supplies are provided for you. It's an after-school club of 7,8,9 year olds.

So proud of my Farm Foodies today for listening and following safety rules as they learned to chop sweet potato fries with a chef knife! 🔪🍠 We finished with a “Sweet vs Heat” dipping challenge (Marshmallow Glaze vs Jalapeño Lime Crema). @GaFarmBureau

So grateful for a donation from the new LG @DeltaCommunity to fund supplies needed for our 2 FarmFoodies clubs. We purchased kitchen items for the group that will be prepping recipes each month, and soil/garden items for FF2.0, who will be exploring the science of gardening. 👩🏼🌾

Nice resource to help students understand command words in questions. Command words are the words and phrases used in exams and other assessment tasks that tell students how they should answer the question. I'll put a link so you can download the document in the replies.

Happy❤️this morning- collaborated with 2 student groups who designed their own PBL units to incorporate math, science, communication, writing, geography & AgScience. I love watching them puzzle through the design process! Coming Soon: @UGE_HCS animal playground and duck pond 🪿

I've loved watching her grow as a teacher and find her confidence! She designed her own WBL experience to student teach in a variety of classrooms, and impacted so many of our littles. I am most proud that she is leading other teens to develop teaching skills 😍 #TrueBlue
Shout out to our amazing Sr who is leading cluster work at @UGE_HCS this year. This used to be a coach-led process, & now @jerinpringle1 has trained her up so well that we get to let her shine on her own. Here she is w/ the sweetest smiles @UGE_HCS & w/ our new Supt @LGHS_HCS.

Our annual College & Career Fair, hosted by our amazing CTAE chair & WBL teacher, was a SMASH this year! Nothing makes me happier than seeing our students dressed professionally, interacting with community, & running to me excited to talk about the future. THIS IS GOOD HS WORK.

Last night at District 3 FarmBureau meeting, I was recognized for contributions to grow Ag Education. As a surprise, I was also named top volunteer for our county for work w/ our cluster community AND our @UGE_HCS Farm Foodies program was the HC event chosen to highlight! 🤩

These kids were amazing, even in the pouring rain! And we could not ask for a better student leader than Bethany! She organized 22 teenagers into their stations for the day and monitored all over campus to be sure everything went smoothly. #TrueBlueLeader
Our first In the Grove day yesterday. Happy to have one of our LGHS students leading this work alongside me and @jerinpringle1 now! Math, Science, SS, ELA, and STEM all were reinforced by high schoolers today. This is the good work! More photos coming...
