I was born into the Cox family, which gave me a complex position of quasi-ownership, with limited to no say, in Cox Enterprises, the parent company of Cox Communications, Cox Media Group, Cox Automotive, & a number of smaller pieces.

In the past, I withheld from aggressively pursuing such a move, bc I maintained some family bonds, & bc I was no more at odds w Cox than w any other tentacle of the American bourgeoisie. That is, it seemed picking a fight w my family was not a relevant piece of larger struggle
