Check out my 10 Rules For Better Public Spaces 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 This is not intended to be an exhaustive list; I didn’t include public space healing, which is a significant part of my practice. But I’ve captured several key ideas. Thoughts? Additional ideas? #cities #public #space

For the first time ever, an Amtrak NextGen Acela train just pulled up to Union Station. It had left Boston at 6 AM this morning, taking roughly 7 hours to make the entire trip.

The President’s disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers. He has impulsively risked launching a war that may ensnare us for generations. It is absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment.

This argument was always BS. That was clear in black-and-white from Day One. @fordnation’s government deliberately misled us all.

After days of heavy snow, we got an aerial view of the roof of the Ontario Science Centre -- which was closed last year over concerns about the structural integrity of the roof. The Progressive Conservatives said, last year, "the building, which is more than 50 years old, is

The Smith family owns 600 acres of land, which has been passed down since the 1920s. A superior court judge recently ruled that a railroad company could seize their property. They are now appealing the decision to the Georgia Supreme Court. https://t.co/ftXmvolYDx

Over the first 4 days of service, Ottawa’s O-Train Lines 2 and 4 saw over 68,000 riders, or 17,000 riders per day (with 400 per day using the Line 4 airport link). Not a bad start for a brand new rail service, and I expect this number to grow over time.

I can’t draw but I think that the distinction between walking and prayer could be reconsidered. I believe that walking, particularly beneath a tree canopy on a spacious city sidewalk or rugged trail is absolutely a prayer. I always experience deep divinity & gratitude when

It’s so fucked up how 9-5s are really like 7-7s because of commutes and prep/de-stress periods, like even the whole day before is ruined because you’re worrying about work the next day… and after transforming your whole life like that, you only get paid for 8 of those hours.

You know what would save a fortune? Not building a redundant parking lot when there's already 7,000 spots around OP, along with GO, TTC and Ontario Line! Not building a MegaSpa would also save taxpayers $2.2 billion! https://t.co/hXs8jBK7Tz #topoli #onpoli

A single sentence, that if embraced by urbanists, mayors, city councillors & the dude who works in finance but is convinced he intuitively knows how to design a street, would greatly improve cities. This sentence would also make community engagement sessions far more productive.
